Call for Abstracts/Papers

Abstracts of a maximum of 400 words should be submitted by January 31, 2010 using the online system on GEO2010 conference web site. Authors will be asked to indicate the Technical Stream/Theme under which they wish their paper to be presented. On-line submission will be available by early-November 2009.

The extended deadline for abstract submission is January 31, 2010. Invitations for the submission of full papers will be sent by February 26, 2010 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference’s Technical Committee.

At least one author of an accepted paper must register for the conference in order to upload a final paper and is expected to make an oral or poster presentation of the paper at the conference. Submitted papers will be due by May 30, 2010 and will be reviewed prior to final acceptance for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Submission acceptances and review comments should be available by mid-June. Final decisions regarding technical merit, relevance, the assigned session topic for submitted papers and the presentation format (oral or poster) will rest with the Technical Committee. Final revised papers for those requiring changes must be provided through the online submission process by July 5, 2010 in order to be included in the conference proceedings.

Accepted papers will appear in the CD-ROM and printed published proceedings of the conference – each registrant will receive the CD-ROM version as part of their registration fee.
